Clinical Director & Founder
Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, stress, and the search for a meaningful life.
I've spent over 25 years working with people who feel trapped by anxiety — people who are often high-functioning, deeply thoughtful, and doing their best to hold everything together. They come to therapy because they want more from life than just getting through the day.
That's what drew me to this work, and it's what keeps me here. I founded The Anxiety & Stress Clinic because I believe people deserve a life that is more than just coping. They deserve support that is grounded in evidence, delivered with warmth, and focused on what actually matters to them.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps people develop psychological flexibility — the ability to be present, open up to difficult experiences, and take action guided by personal values. ACT draws on mindfulness and behavioural science to help people move toward what matters, even in the presence of anxiety.
Working with me, you can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental space. I'm direct but gentle. I'll listen carefully, ask questions that get to the heart of things, and work alongside you to develop practical skills you can use in everyday life.
I am a Clinical Psychologist and published author with over 25 years of experience. I have co-authored four books that bring evidence-based psychological strategies to a wide audience, and I was featured as a therapist in the ACT in Action video training series, which is used in clinical training programs internationally.
Earlier in my career, I designed and ran an award winning Anxiety Clinic for NSW Health. Over the years I have supervised and trained many psychologists and practitioners, and I continue to run workshops across Australia. I have been featured on television programs including Sunrise, and in various print and online media.
